Accommodation

Download map for directions to campus accommodation and Western House Hotel.

Accommodation for two nights of the conference is available through the registration fee. This includes bed and breakfast available on campus in halls of residence. The accommodation on campus is basic. All rooms have sinks within the room, though most have shared bathroom/ showers/toilets. If you wish to ensure you have an ensuite bathroom, we recommend you book at a nearby hotel.

A number of hotels are available, all within a reasonable distance to the campus. Our preferred hotel is the Western House Hotel at Ayr Racecourse, which is an up-market, new hotel with beautiful rooms. There is no website for this venue, but you will not be disappointed if you book. The hotel has agreed a special rate of 80 UK pounds per
room (up to 3 people). Contact: kdonnachie@ayr-racecourse.co.uk, tel:+44 (0) 8700555510, fax: +44 (0)8700555515.

Please contact us if you require an additional night of on-campus accommodation. Click here to download a list of local hotels.

Delegates are responsible for booking their own hotel accommodation. As a tourist destination, Ayr has a plentiful supply of hotels and bed and breakfast accommodation. Tourist information about Ayrshire and the Isle of Arran is available here.
